What do you do with a broken bike pump?
I brought this broken tire pump to school last week and all of the kids were really interested in using it and trying to understand how it works. Today I brought it back with a few ideas in my back pocket. After doing investigations in the front outdoor space with a bucket of soapy water and the bike pump, we decided to take our supplies to the back and share them with Katherine and the Garden Cottage kids.
They were so engaged by this investigation. Check out their expressions of focus and joy! I'm thinking to build on it by doing a series of projects about air. Any ideas?
